A Dear Jane Letter

Around lunchtime I realized that the sock was trying to tell me something. Something along these lines:

Dear Liz,

We haven't been getting along very well lately. Don't you think that frogging the same inch three times in three days is too much? I think we should take a break.

Yours,
The right kneesock

I can see where the kneesock is coming from. I'm going to take some time to actually chart the pattern, and maybe finish up that sweater. It may be harder to carry around but wow, is it easier to knit on.

yes definitely take a deep breath and let em lay low for awhile. when you're ready to finish the knee socks, you'll know.

they look great so far.

Um -- how does it know that it's the right kneesock?

Somtimes a project definitely needs a break -- I'm taking a break from socks on #1 needles for a while, right after I finish the BIL socks.

the sock looks really pretty, but sometimes we need to regroup. interesting how knitting is a metaphor for life......

Beautiful sock, even if it is POSSESSED! I hope you get it figured out, and it bows to your will.

Yeah, I have some projects that I swear are possessed. I just walk away from them for a while and when I go back to them, we usually get along much better.
